2022 comes with an explosion in entertainment and has seen a rising increase in both manga and anime. Demon Slayer Season Two Part Two, known as The Entertainment District has not only introduced a new arc to the Demon Slayer series but also paves the way for other animes to stand out in their own rights such as Attack on Titans: The Final Season.
Within eleven episodes Demon Slayer: The Entertainment District follows our main cast, Tanjiro Kamado and his sister Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and everyone’s favorite wild boar head Hashibira Inosuke with the sound Hashira Uzui Tengen into the red light district to flush out and solve a listing of disappearances relating to an upper moon demon.
Spanning from episode one to episode eleven, we see flashy animation that captures vivid movement with hilarious moments involving the main cast but also a heartbreaking backstory with our new antagonist(s) Upper moon six, Gyutaro and his sister Daki. While the anime itself progresses with its story, animation, character backgrounds, and soundtracks there’s something more than captivates the central attention.
There’s a philosophical breath that keeps us viewing both sides of every character presented and very much keeps the moral gray area open with an ideology seen. This new season of Demon Slayer brings to the table a much more groundbreaking evolution in eastern anime compared to western cartoons.
There’s more action and more flashes that appear in each and every character. While much is seen within each character there’s a stark contrast between Tanjiro and Nezuko compared to Gyutaro and Daki. The bond between siblings in this anime carries within each season but also makes a very distinct point, the point being one doesn’t go anywhere without the other.
Within its own right, Demon Slayer: The Entertainment District is the crowning glory for 2022’s new anime listing and definitely worth binge-watching. The new season is already confirmed with its trailer.
