Remember when we were young?
Where everyone would bring small cards, toys, and cheap candy…
Those were the days where love was shown through gifts.
We were young and loving.
We felt special.
Now my dearest, those times have changed.
Now we are able to pick and choose who our hearts belong to.
Giving a piece of your heart to another is something to be afraid of.
The vulnerable part of accepting and handling someone’s love.
You must remember to be kind and sweet.
Do not drop someone’s heart.
Mending someone’s broken heart may seem easy, but at times it may be the most difficult.
Sometimes we don’t even mean to damage it.
My dearest,
To let you know how much I love you, I want to promise you romantic poems and songs.
We may not perform those grand gestures of romance, but it will be ours.
With every word I write to you it will be a reminder of how much I adore you.
Creating happy memories from our adventures, like dancing under the stars to a favorite song or laughing at jokes that we can only understand.
Those will be days that we will never forget and I promise you that.
Our hands will intertwine holding each other tight.
It will be a gentle reminder of how much we trust each other.
I will always envy every part of you from your gentle soul to your sweet smile.
The memory of our love will be internal.
Those memories are filled with joy and sweetness as you look back on them.
To the good old days when we were young.
We still have those cheap chocolates, supermarket flowers, and the small stuffed bears.
There is nothing better than the memories of our youth compared to the gifts of our youth.
To my world,
You will always be everything to me.
