A new dawn, a new day and a new year is on the horizon for students and teachers alike within Montgomery College. Let us dive in and see what is in store for the new year.
Students, teachers, aides, and new arrivals welcome a brand-new semester and learning within this unique school year at Montgomery College. With summer ending and fall being just around the corner, the world of learning has expanded beyond being remote and indoors to new possibilities.
As we all enter new grounds and chances, let us talk about the new aspect opening for better opportunities, in-person, and blended learning. Starting with the regular 15-week standard course and 13-week later start both students plus teachers begin moving towards in-person scheduled meetings and course related studies.
Along with these returning formatted classes, clubs, sports and offered programs are all picking up to not only reintroduce the ability to socialize physically but to also re-energize students into participation.
With face-to-face interactions on the rise for MC, the question is what else can both students and teachers do? For many clubs, sports and offered programs with in-person events such as Club Rush, offer an extra boost to reengaging students. This includes reengaging with not just peers but establishing bonds with subjects related to activities. It’s also the chance to return to a semi-normal reality which many missed so dearly.
Face to face interactions are coming back with high anticipation. However, blended formatted classes combine the abilities to meet in person with cores that the students can relate with. With virtual learning, discussions forms offer the opportunity to share feedback to peers in the groups.
As the year just begins to fall, like the autumn leaves, both students and faculty can expect changes to come in quickly.
