Written by Cindy Cruz-Guzman

Darling,

Why have you left me

You’ve left me alone smiling at shadows, alone.

I’ve anxiously been waiting outside

Hoping the wind will deliver the sound of your voice to me,

My love,

It’s spring and sunny,

But everything is sad and cloudy,

Oh, how I’ve missed you

Your dirt colored eyes and the curves of your face

Your smile is so bright and your laugh is always contagious.

Our souls are intertwined with love,

But our pride got in the way.

Maybe someday I will see you again,

Maybe someday the wind will bring you to me.

Spanish Translation: Amor Sin Rostro

Amor,

Porque me has dejado

Me has dejado sonriendo a las sombras

Me encuentro esperando que le viento

Me entregue el sonido de tu voz.

Amor mio,

Es primavera y soleado y brillante,

Sin embargo todo es triste y nublado.

Ay, como te he extrañado

Tus ojos color tierra, las curvas de tu rostro

Y tu sonrisa tan brillante y to risa tan contagiosa,

Amor,

Nuestras almas se aman,

Pero nuestro orgullo se interpuso en el camino.

Tal vez algun dia te vuelva ver

Tal vez un dia el viento te acerque a mi.
