The start of the album welcomes you in with opened arms as if The Alchemist handed you a nice cold glass of orange juice. In the song “ Turkish Cotton,” the listener is met with the sounds of thunder and lightning but is quickly sheltered as an array of brass instruments flood the listeners headphones. Larry June glides across the track as he describes the lavish life he currently lives as well as the importance of financial responsibility.
“89 Earthquake” is the second song on the album that displays The Alchemist’ outstanding production as it compliments Larry June’s singing on this particular song. Most artist that the Alchemist work with generally speak on topics related to violence and tramatic experiences when rapping. Larry June’s content consists of a positive messaging that encourages people of all ages to stay healthy and enjoy the finer things in life.
